The near perfect 2022 McLaren Vale vintage graced us with perfect crops and ripening conditions delivering wines of distinctive pure varietal characters. Warm days and cool nights with low disease pressure provided optimum growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from selected blocks of Cabernet and matured in a selection of French Oak for 24 months, this wine has a bouquet of black ripe fruits, blueberry, pepper, cassis and uniper, hints of toasted almond and cigar box from the oak. The balanced palate deliveres cherry chocolate, mint, red currants, cassis and mocha integrating with fine oak tannins.
