Vintage 2021 was a perfect vintage for ripening Chardonnay in the Adelaide Hills with cool nights and warm days resulting in green apple, peach and grapefruit aromas and fruit flavours.
Fermented in 100% new oak barriques and puncheons, with partial malolactic fermentation and lees stirring monthly over 6 months has produced a beautifully textured and balanced Chardonnay. Displaying grapefruit, green apples, quince and cashew notes with cedary vanillin flavours integrates with natural acidity and oak integration finishing with a great length.
Approachable now or will reward with short term cellaring.
