Dry grown handpicked parcels of selected batches of fruit from our ‘POW block’, planted in 1944, and our ‘Katunga’ block planted in 1968, were fermented in our original concrete vats, with three daily pump overs. Minimal oak used to showcase the fruit expression of Grenache. Bright brick red colour and a generous depth of mouth feel, delivering rich raspberry, spicy black plum, mulberry and fruit cake, enhanced by fine grain tannins. A fine example of McLaren Vale Grenache exhibiting great power and length of flavour.
